TRIPLE POWER

Three-Phase Switching Power Supplies 400…500 Vac for Industrial Automation Applications. These three-phase switching power supplies are capable of delivering more than +50% of the rated current for an extended period, while maintaining a stable output voltage and ensuring continuous power to the system. They are equipped with a voltage-threshold controlled alarm contact that switches when the output voltage drops below 90% of the nominal value.

Thanks to these features and the numerous international certifications, this series of power supplies enables designers to meet the requirements of the Machinery Directive EN 60204-1, ensuring fast, safe, and selective tripping of the protections connected on the output side, thereby guaranteeing service continuity to the remaining parts of the system.

  • Large power reserve capable of delivering at least +50% of the rated current for 5 seconds while maintaining stable output voltage, ensuring safety and reliability
  • Adjustable output voltage, protected against overvoltage from the DC line input, and featuring dual electronic protection to prevent damage to powered equipment in case of internal failure
  • Short-circuit and overload protection designed to provide inrush currents exceeding 150% of the nominal value, as required by heavy loads
  • Thermal protection prevents failure in case of prolonged overload at high ambient temperatures
  • Design ensures excellent ventilation of internal components, very compact dimensions, and IP20 protection rating against accidental contact according to IEC 529.

Special Power Supplies for DC and Brushless Motors and Related Drives

  • New models rated at 48 Vdc, 72…85 Vdc, and 110…180 Vdc have been introduced, specifically designed to power DC motors reliably, as they:
  • Deliver current peaks up to 4–5 times the nominal current, as required by the motor during startup
  • Feature an output stage protected against overvoltages generated by motors and drives during braking, which could otherwise damage the power supply or cause loss of output voltage stability
  • Provide output voltages of 48 Vdc and 72…85 Vdc; by increasing the motor supply voltage, the same power can be achieved at lower current levels, offering significant advantages in terms of performance, motor design, connection cables, and drives.
